A bespoke solution with an agitating hopper on a supporting platform for the transport or concrete or mortar on tunnel worksites
Our research and development department can study your project brief to find transport solutions for concrete and mortar in tunnel worksites. These hoppers are made to measure according to the dimensions of the supporting platform, the tunnel, and also the useful capacity required.
These hoppers have one or two stirring shafts, depending on the size and shape of the tank. The stirring shaft keeps the concrete or mortar moving to allow for its transportation and storage. The stirring shaft is composed of multiple self-cleaning blades to facilitate the cleaning process.
SECATOL agitating hoppers are equipped with a captive key system. This system prevents accidents during cleaning operations. The grates on the upper part of the hopper can only be removed using the key that also serves to start the agitation. The key is either inserted into the board to allow the agitation process or is removed from the board and used to unlock the grates, thus stopping the agitation.
SECATOL hoppers are renowned worldwide for their reliability and have been used on prestigious sites such as the Channel Tunnel, the Cairo Subway, the Lyon North Bypass, the Gotthard axis in Switzerland, and the Groene Hart in the Netherlands.
Do not hesitate to send us your design brief so that we can work together to find a solution that meets your site’s requirements.
