Use of our agitating hopper:

The agitating hopper stores and agitates concrete or mortars and facilitates distribution.

Principle of our agitating hopper

Loading takes place through the grates on the top of the hopper. The concrete doesn’t set thanks to the agitation system. A gate on the front side opens on demand to discharge the mortar or concrete according to the site needs.

Interest of our agitating hopper

The agitating hoppers offer users an efficient management of the concrete flow and a better independence on the building site :

• Speeding up of the rotation of truck mixers to reduce waiting times and a more rigorous cost price …
• Productivity optimization due to a better work distribution and continuous concrete flow supply

Concrete requirements: Slump > 7 cm and Aggregates < 30 mm (For larger aggregates please consult our technical department.)

Characteristics of our agitating hopper

• 4= 4 tubular feet, 550 mm travel.
• 1 tank  from 3500L to 16000L according to the model and standard.
• 1 agitating device run via a back geared motor and axle coupling shaft
• Several grates : to secure access into the bucket and to enable loading the bucket. The opening of the grates is secured by a key (compulsory power shut off) .
• 1 protection tarpaulin : to protect from weather incidences.
• 1 discharge gate operated with a 10m long cable electro-mechanical remote control.
• 1 gate safety device: to prevent introduction of external elements inside the tank.
• Side lifting eyes : on the upper part (unladen handling).

• Double exit to feed two different equipments (2 concrete pumps for example) :

• One discharge under the hopper to feed a concrete pump for example
