Use of the agitating hopper on frame for tunnelling

The agitating hopper stores, agitates and distributes concrete into skips or into the feeding hopper of a concrete pump.
The agitating system comprises of a horizontal shaft with arms. At the end of the arms are titled blades which push the concrete towards the outlet.

• Agitation driven by an electric gear motor
• 2 outlets with Ø200mm knife gate valves powered by a hydraulic unit
• 1 outlet with a Ø250mm manual knife gate valve

Controlling the   agitating hopper

Agitation controls on the electrical panel and gate controls (opening and closing) on a wired remote.

Conditions for use of the agitating hopper

Aggregates under 30mm and slump over 70mm.

This hopper is installed on a frame and has walkways for access from the sides.
